Abstract
The most recent meeting of the EMCR (Electrochemical Methods in Corrosion Research) series took place in Dourdan, near Paris, on 18-23 June 2006. The event is held every 3 years, previous venues including Trento, Italy in 1997 (organised by Pier-Luigi Bonora), Budapest, Hungary in 2000 (organised by Erika Kalman) and Ysermonde, Belgium in 2003 (organised by Jean Vereeken). The Dourdan meeting was organised by Claude Deslouis and Bernard Tribollet from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris.
