Abstract
Working Group NO.2 of the European Federation of Corrosion with the title ‘Protection of metallic (steel) structures’ was formed in 1967. It includes representatives of Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and West Germany. Contacts between members may be made directly or through the President of the Working Group who is responsible for maintaining good liaison. In addition an annual meeting is organised in one of the countries of the members, usually on the occasion of a Congress or other meeting of the European Federation, for example: Amsterdam (September 1969), Prague (November 1970), Harrogate (September 1971) and Liège (May 1972).
