Abstract
Internet technologies and resources hold the potential to substantially reduce the interpersonal and informational isolation that is so often experienced in Deaf Education. In this article a model is presented through which the Internet can be effectively used to recognize the expertise of experienced teachers, enhance the preparation of new teachers, and develop instructional resources. In addition, specific Web sites are identified and discussed regarding their use as a means to enrich the curricular offerings available in our K-12 educational programs.
