Abstract
This article describes the distance education program in Moderate and Severe Disabilities in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Kentucky from the perspectives of a faculty member and administrator who have worked with the program since its inception as well as from the perspective of a faculty member new to the program. The history of the programs, the authors' involvement in distance education, and predictions for the future of distance education in special education are included.
