Abstract
The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) collects information about its registrants annually via registrant surveys. Results of the ARDMS annual registrant surveys from 1989 to 1992 are summarized. Among the important findings, it is concluded that the percentage of ARDMS registrants employed on a full-time basis has remained constant. A summary of where registrants xxork (employment setting, not geographic region) and how they spend their professional time is also given. The frequency with which 12 professional journals were read is reported.
