A hemangioma is the most common benign neo- plasm found within the liver. Although hem- angiomas are a common incidental diagnostic finding, atypical hemangiomas are considered a rare finding within the liver because of their differing appearance sonographically. A case is presented that represents an atypical cavernous hemangioma found by ultrasonography.
