A man in his early 60s presented to the emergency department with acute onset of right facial numbness and drooping, right hand and leg weakness, and slurred speech. These symptoms lasted for approximately 10 minutes and resolved spontaneously. The patient denied previous similar episodes. An echocardiogram revealed a left ventricular mass for which the patient underwent surgery. The pathology report was a papillary fibroelastoma.
