Abstract
The HR function in corporate India has come of age post the liberalisation of the economy in the last decade of the twentieth century. India is not immune to ‘The Great Resignation’ that has buffeted companies across the globe. The HR function needs to transform itself and focus on creating an organisation for the future—focusing on being a crucible for nurturing great talent. The existing linear approach to managing careers will have to give way to a more agile and democratic talent marketplace. There are many offerings available in this space, and this article intends to share some best practices in this aspect.
