Abstract
Against the backdrop of the recent revival of the labor movement in the United States, discussion of labor unions is both relevant and timely in management courses. To support such discussions in introductory human resources and management courses, we present a curated list of accessible, engaging resources drawn from our teaching experience. These materials can help instructors explore labor unions and guide students in critically evaluating the motivations and challenges of unionized workplaces and unionization efforts in the contemporary corporate environment. This knowledge is essential for preparing future employees and leaders to navigate the evolving landscape of labor relations and organizational culture effectively.
