Tecan Holding AG, a leader in the world of automated laboratory technology, is composed of three manufacturing companies:
Tecan AG of Switzerland
SLT Labinstruments (SLT) of Austria
Cavro Scientific Instruments of the United States.
Each of the Tecan companies makes a unique contribution to the group's skills, resources and experience. Tecan AG is the world's foremost manufacturer of Robotic Sample Processors. SLT develops and manufacturers microplate readers, washers, and dispensers and is one of the largest distributors of OEM microplate equipment in Europe and the U.S. Cavro is internationally known as an OEM manufacturer of liquid handling products, including syringe pumps and custom components.
Sales and distribution of Tecan and SLT products in the United States are handled by Tecan U.S., located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Other Tecan and SLT trading companies are located in England, France, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and Italy. The Tecan group of companies represents the synergistic union of products supporting research and the development and implementation of laboratory automation.
