Abstract
The authors explore their interest in child precarity. The discussion begins with autobiographical explorations of events in their lives that have led them to have sensitivity to childhood vulnerability and then moves on to a discussion of their key concerns about childhood today. Discussion includes mention of significant writers that have influenced their thinking.
