Abstract
Ensuring good working conditions for ageing workers needs to be the quid pro quo when considering extension to an active working life. It is therefore essential to identify the problems ageing workers face on the actual labour market to better understand this particular group of workers. In order to take into account both social norms, persuasive norms and legal norms, we choose to take Kahn-Freund's approach as the framework for this article. The aim of the paper is to propose an improvement to the existing European framework regarding the working conditions for ageing workers in order to propose a new way of planning ageing policies with regard to four specific working conditions issues.
