La tomodensitometria intervenzionale raggruppa diverse tecniche, di cui la più diffusa è la puntura bioptica a fini diagnostici. L'approccio diagnostico e terapeutico del rachide è stato completamente modificato in questi ultimi anni grazie alla radiologia intervenzionale che permette di identificare le differenti patologie vertebrali prelevando un frammento osseo, ma può anche avere un fine terapeutico come nella vertebroplastica, nell'asportazione degli osteomi osteoidi e nell'alcolizzazione tumorale.
Tratteremo le differenti tecniche ed indicazioni della tomodensitometria intervenzionale.
