To augment our previously published spirometry and lung volume interpretation programs for hand-held computers (HHC) we present HHC software that uses anthropometric and test data to calculate and interpret the single breath carbon monoxide diffusing capacity of the lung (DLCO) and the ratio of diffusing capacity to alveolar volume (DL/VA).
