The Royal College of Surgeons in London played host in May to the ‘Covering All Points’ conference on the prevention of occupational blood-borne virus transmission in health care.
The aim of the conference was two-fold. First, it considered how the number of accidents occurring in healthcare organisations could be measured accurately. It then discussed how to control and reduce the risks inherent in them.
