Biceps-to-triceps transfer was performed in three children with concurrent deficits in shoulder abduction and elbow extension attributable to cocontraction following natural recovery from brachial plexus birth palsy. Substantial improvements in active shoulder abduction were observed without impairing elbow flexion.
