Abstract
Looking out of the aeroplane window at the first glimpses of the East African coast the adventure became reality. Despite months of injections, applying for a visa and lesson planning, being in Tanzania was not fully grasped until that point. To be honest I was nervous and apprehensive. This was something so very different from anything I had ever done before. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the activity was non-stop and it is only now with time that I am able to fully understand and reflect on the adventure and its impact.
