Management Tasks and Style Within a Closing School — The Need for Flexibility in the Light of Staff Uncertainties Relating to Immediate Job Prospects

Abstract

In a school facing closure the staff are likely to be beset by fears and anxieties, and loss of morale. This case-study shows how staff can be involved in a programme of development. It makes recommendations for others in similar stressful situations.
