Abstract

Layla, a young adult, fell victim to an online relationship. High school principal Nasiba, an experienced elder educator with a conservative mindset influenced by collectivist cultural values, faced challenges in understanding Layla’s digital age predicament. This article outlines the emotional and financial hurdles faced by victims of online relationships and the disparities in generational perspectives resulting from technological advancements. The aim of this case study is to underscore the importance of adaptive leadership and encourage future leaders to prioritize enhancing digital literacy among both students and administrators in our rapidly evolving digital age.
