Abstract
A six-degree-of-freedom simulation of kinetic interceptors and modeling of a strapdown antenna platform have been worked out in Matlab Simulink to analyze the implication of nonlinear factors and the cross-coupling effect for the strapdown antenna platform. From the results of the simulation, the cross-coupling effect, which is between the inner gimbal and outer gimbal of the strapdown antenna platform, has less implication on the angular speed output. When the nonlinear factor was introduced, both the cross-coupling effect between the inner gimbal and outer gimbal and that between a missile body and antenna platform were increased. The results provide a theoretical foundation and simulation model for further research on the strapdown antenna platform.
