The importance of useful psychomotor tests has clearly surfaced for the severely and profoundly handicapped. This article is a summary of selected physical, motor, and fitness tests, with a particular stress upon developmental age. Terminology clarification, recommendations related to selection and use of priority tests, plus comments related to an accompanying table of selected tests make up this article.
