Abstract
Assessment in the Classroom is a new column in Diagnostique designed for practitioners to share practical and successful assessment methods and materials they have developed or adapted for use in the classroom. Information that deals with unique and current best practices (e.g., curriculum-based assessment, continuous assessment, computer-assisted assessment) is preferred. Authors should describe how the assessment technique will lead directly to instruction. The format for these brief articles (three to six journal pages) includes the following: (a) purpose and rationale, (b) population for whom assessment is directed, (c) description of the technique and materials. Should the manuscript be accepted for publication, the author is expected to provide camera-ready figures. Submit manuscripts to Ronald C. Eaves, Diagnostique, 1234 Haley Center, Auburn University, AL 36849, Attention: Susan Evans.
