Abstract
Amongst numerous families of composite materials, soft composites associating thermo-plastic matrix with textile reinforcement are used particularly in civil engineering and building construction in the shape of tensile membranes. To give an answer to the permanent use of these structures, it is necessary to know stiffness and failure behavior of those materials, and also to apprehend their long term behavior under combined prompting. So we must develop experimental char acterization technics and rheological models taking into account the specificities of these materials and their long term behaviors.
