This article gives a detailed discussion of urethane coating textiles using the transfer process. One-component systems have overcome many earlier disadvantages by requiring only the evaporation of the solvent to achieve a urethane film with fully developed physical properties. Tests are described for determining hydrolysis resistance, abrasion, flexing, and adhesion.
