The recovery time of the human eye after a 1 s exposure to extrafoveal monochromatic glare was measured as a function of radial and azimuthal angle of the glare source. The test and the glare sources were of the same wavelength with a constant bandwidth of 50 nm at 450 nm, 500 nm, 550 nm and 600 nm.
