Abstract
In recent years, data on the daylight and solar radiation at various orientations have been collected in Singapore as part of the International Daylighting Measurement Programme (IDMP) of the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE). Singapore represents the tropical climate, for which very few data are available worldwide. Data have been collected for five years, commencing in 1989. It is always necessary to check numbers of data for integrity. A method of checking the measured data was used to identify the faulty data. The analysis identified some data to be faulty and a method was adopted to reconstitute the faulty data. An annual database has been developed with the average hourly values of the data.
