Numerical simulations of goniophotometric procedures have been developed to analyse optical properties of various window components. They use a spectral forward ray tracking simulation technique to compute spectral bidirectional transmittances and reflectances. An on-line integration algorithm allows the determination of hemispherical properties. The paper describes this numerical tool, validation tests and some applications.
