Abstract
A quasi-automatic method of predicting the intensity distribution from any axially symmetrical surface with large sources of light at any position of detector is carried out by calculating the exit pupil of the system at any direction of reflection. The reflector is divided in a finite number of zones so that the calculations can be performed with a minicomputer. The results are fairly good.
