Abstract
The following “Recommended Values of Illumination,” prepared by the Technical Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society as an indication of Good Modern Lighting Practice, have been recently revised and extended. The Committee has also in view the preparation, as a supplement to this series of values, of some general explanatory statements regarding the principles of good lighting.
