Abstract
The following “Recommended Values of Illumination” have been prepared by the Technical Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society as an indication of Good Modern Lighting Practice. The Committee has also in view the preparation, as a supplement to this series of values, of some general explanatory statements regarding the principles of good lighting.
