A numerical algorithm based on multiscale modeling is presented, to postprocess ground penetrating radar measurements obtained when inspecting a reinforced concrete slab, to characterize the position and shape of rebars. The method is based on minimizing the difference between the measured signal and the signal generated by a guessed location of the inclusion. Results for three specific examples are presented, including synthetic and real data. Comparison between inversion results and causative bodies is encouraging, despite the simplicity of the approach.
