This study is designed to test whether low self-control moderates the relationship between anger and violent behavior of youth. To that aim, two waves of panel data from the Korean Youth Panel Survey were employed (N = 3132) to estimate the moderating effect of low self-control between anger and violent behavior by youth. The results suggested that aggressive youth with low self-control are more likely to engage in violent behavior, and low self-control is found to exert significant conditional effects on the relationship between anger and violent behavior of youth.
