Abstract
In today’s era, English learning is becoming more and more important, and the combination of science and technology and education has become an important research direction. English education is still suffering from the problems of low learning efficiency and students’ learning difficulties. In order to solve this problem, we are based on exploring the development potential of VR-based cultural and situational teaching model. In this study, we investigate the current status of combining and applying VR with cultural and situational teaching based on the literature review method, and then conducted a questionnaire survey to comprehensively assess the effect and role of VR in English learning. Finally, we conclude that VR has a good application prospect in English culture and situational teaching, which can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for English learning and enhance the efficiency of learning.
