Abstract
To address the issue of renewable energy fluctuations in new electrical systems, we have proposed a multi-time scale coordinated control strategy aimed at optimizing the performance of the system, particularly multi-energy storage (MES) systems. This strategy integrates various control methods across different energy time scales, significantly improving the power response characteristics of the system. Compared to single energy storage systems, MES systems exhibit notable advantages in stabilizing power fluctuations and extending energy storage lifespans. The strategy, divided into day-ahead optimization and intraday adjustment stages, effectively mitigates the impact of renewable energy forecasting errors, ensuring safe and stable operation. With a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and overall reliability, our research contributes to the advancement of MES systems within modern electrical systems.
