Abstract
In order to solve the problem of low durability of traditional cable anti-corrosion materials, a new type of anti-corrosion sealing wax for cable was developed by combining model test and real bridge test methods. Firstly, formulation design of the new anti-corrosion sealing wax was carried out. Secondly, dropping point test, steel mesh oil separation test, low temperature performance test, corrosion test, oxidation stability test, damp heat test, and salt spray test of the new anti-corrosion sealing wax were carried out, and pouring equipment of the new anti-corrosion material was developed. Test results show that the new anti-corrosion sealing wax and its pouring equipment can effectively meet the anti-corrosion requirements of actual project, and new anti-corrosion sealing wax was applied to the cable maintenance of Liuzhou Jinglan Bridge. Application results show that cable has no oil drop leakage, waterproof and anti-corrosion effects was excellent, and new anti-corrosion sealing wax can effectively meet the requirements of practical projects, which can provide reference for domestic cable maintenance and construction.
