Abstract
Adaptive and intelligent mobile learning systems are transforming education by offering personalized, engaging experiences through artificial intelligence (AI). These systems tailor learning paths to individual paces, interests, and patterns, providing real-time feedback and recommending resources for optimal learning. Gamification elements, such as badges, leaderboards, and points, further motivate learners, promoting engagement and fostering healthy competition. As a result, these systems support personal growth, skill development, and professional advancement, becoming crucial tools for lifelong learning and career training. Incorporating traditional board and card games into mobile platforms enhances this further, providing interactive, context-driven learning opportunities. These games bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications, offering diverse learning methods. This special issue seeks contributions that address these challenges while exploring advancements in personalized learning, gamification, and the integration of board and card games. We invite submissions focused on the diverse applications of adaptive mobile learning systems, including in engineering, business education, games, and specialized fields. Research on design principles, technological advancements, and case studies in mobile learning systems is welcome, aiming to explore how adaptive systems can reshape education and professional training. Topics of interest include AI algorithms, gamification elements, and board/card game integrations in mobile learning environments.
