Abstract
Tania Zittoun's research has great value in the context of the current research background of developmental psychology, and especially from the perspective of a Chinese scholar. Zittoun breaks through the traditional research model of developmental psychology, and finds a new way to analyze the psychological changes in transition with the concept of cultural resource as the core of her research paradigm. Furthermore, she explores the development of person-as-history in an open-ended dynamic process of research. Zittoun's research has provided us with much to learn from, to contemplate about, and to work through in creating a new methodology and analytical patterns for understanding human beings.
