America has come to rely on the automobile for most of its transportation needs,
even in urban areas. Both federal and local mandates, however, may force this
reliance to end. This article examines current developments in localized ground
transportation and predicts their impact on the hospitality industry. America's most
densely populated state, New Jersey, is used as the focus.
