This paper discusses the implications of image communication to both the
hospitality industry and industry educators. The first section of the paper examines
current trends in public relations and their implications for the hospitality industry.
The second part of the paper explains how the authors of this paper developed an
integrated sequence of hospitality marketing and public relation courses.
