The Internet as an Information Resource for Children with Severe Developmental Disabilities

Abstract

The focus of this “clinical tip” is to provide an introduction to the Internet as a resource for professionals working with individuals having severe disabilities. Specifically, the article addresses the use of the World Wide Web and the videoconferencing features of the Internet. A brief annotated list of URLs (Universal Resource Locators) specific to severe disabilities is included.
