Abstract
Helping students become more aware and accepting of people from different cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds is a big challenge—one that Middlesex Community College took on in an interesting way. Instead of creating a single central program, educators there decided to look broadly across their two campuses for opportunities and ideas. The result was many small initiatives that together have had a large impact on the campus climate.
