Abstract
A few years ago Jonathan Mooney and David Cole, each with a different learning disability, met and decided to help each other get through college. In the process they also created their own nonprofit organization, Project Eye-to-Eye, which matches university students who have learning disabilities with elementary school children who have similar problems. They also wrote a book, Learning Outside the Lines, designed to help college students with learning problems navigate the college experience. The book reveals a lot about how learning does and can occur on campuses. Here are some excerpts.
