One of the stumbling blocks encountered when designing a research proposal for home health care relates to the selection of subjects. Variables to consider when developing subject inclusion criteria include diagnosis, length of stay within the agency, informed consent, and number of visits scheduled by the researcher. These and others are discussed in this guide to obtaining research subjects from the home care setting.
