Abstract
This article outlines the steps taken by Concerned Care, a private duty home care company, to decrease the number of rehospitalizations for the children we serve. The client population at our company is primarily children who are respiratory compromised and technology depen dent. This group is particularly at risk for pneumonia. The article covers a three-year study, the fact finding and subsequent changes made to decrease overall hospitalization. Key words: pedi atrics, pneumonia, quality, rehospitalizations
