Abstract
A coordinated community response (CCR) is a whole system response for victims of domestic violence. Interviews were conducted with leaders of U.S. state and territorial domestic violence coalitions to assess CCR resilience to COVID-19. Interviews were completed with 25/56 coalitions. Key challenges to maintaining CCRs included: (1) maintaining community infrastructures for service coordination; (2) continuity of law enforcement/legal systems; (3) maintaining evidence-based practices with virtual services; (4) continuity of CCR networking, training, and outreach. Identifying elements of CCRs that worked well during a large-scale emergency will improve continuity of integrated services and ensure robust CCR systems in future disasters.
