Abstract
This is just one story of Attention Deficit Disorder. It's not finished and won't be for awhile. John, who had been so unfortunate in those early years, partly from what we didn't know and partly from what we and the school system were unable to provide, had his life turned around by a type of school and teaching staff that is desperately needed in this country today. The numbers of these children are legion and their talents are wasted by our inability to educate them. The psychologist who first accurately diagnosed John explained it beautifully when he told us, “these kids normally go to jail, but given the right environment they can go anywhere.”
