Abstract
Camp directors have known for a long time the value of camping for youth. Along with the home, camp is an “ideal educational setting.” Young people eager for new experiences live around the clock in small groups with a concerned and loving staff, sharing and growing together in Nature's great outdoor classroom. It is an excellent climate for social, emotional and intellectual growth. This article describes one such camp program for g/c/t youngsters.
