Abstract
This meta-analysis synthesized 43 empirical articles to summarize the impact of communicating three distinct uncertainty types (i.e., epistemic uncertainty, consensus uncertainty, and technical uncertainty) in science communication. The results revealed divergent effects across these three uncertainty types.
