Abstract
The temperament of children and level of social support for couples often significantly impact marital status. This article will attempt to explain these phenomena through the use of questionnaires distributed among families in the Dalian city. This random sampling questionnaire will explore the relationships among post-1980s marriages in the areas of social support and the effects of temperament of children upon the marital relationship. The post-1980s group will be defined, differences between this group and previous generations will be examined, and the societal impact of this group will be explored. The aim of the authors through this study is to improve the marital quality of the post-1980s marital group and provide harmony and stability in the further development of society.
