This special issue comprises select papers from the 2004 Eastern Academy of Management Conference with the theme of Organizational Wisdom: Human, Managerial, and Strategic Implications. The evolution of the field of organizational wisdom is discussed, and the focal articles are reconciled as to their relationship with and contribution to this emerging domain.
